Live Nation Case Study
Turning strategy into compelling venue concepts at scale
Role: Account Director/ Client Services
Focus: Creative process, rapid concept development
The Challenge
Live Nation had assembled a best-in-class strategy team to ideate and conceptualize a record number of new venues.
There was one critical gap: the team didn't have a dedicated design resource to translate those strategic ideas into polished visual concepts.
Without compelling visuals, strong strategic concepts were harder to communicate internally making them harder to sell to the CEO and other decision-makers whose buy-in was necessary to move projects forward.
What I did
Working alongside the agency Creative Director, I created a repeatable process for turning strategy briefs into venue visual concepts within a fixed timeframe.
Rather than treating each concept as a bespoke creative exercise, we established a workflow that allowed the team to move quickly from:
Strategy → Concept → Visual Direction → Executive-ready Presentation
This gave the strategy team a reliable creative partner and made visualization a scalable part of the venue development process.
Impact
The process enabled the strategy team to move from concept to launch at a significantly higher pace.
Nearly 15 new venues launched within a year, helping unlock a $1 billion expansion budget for the following year.
The takeaway
The value of design wasn't limited to making the strategy look better. By creating a repeatable bridge between strategic thinking and visual communication, design became a tool for getting ideas understood, approved, and ultimately funded.
